The European Commission has forcibly recalled two Chinese LED bulbs

Recently, the European Commission's non-food rapid alert system (RAPEX) forcibly recalled two LED bulbs produced in China.

The first product to be notified was a 3 watt color-changing LED bulb with a B22 base, model number H-28669, and a bar code of 5050577286692. The reason why the product was recalled was that the lampshade and heat sink of the product were easy to fall off, and the product was easy to leak. The product was not in compliance with the requirements of the EU Low Voltage Directive and relevant European standards, and was forcibly recalled in the EU and withdrawn from the market.

The second product to be notified is the 12-watt high-power LED bulb with E27 lamp head, and the bar code is 7330400095799. The reason for the recall of the product is the insufficient insulation between the primary and secondary circuits, and the lamp cover is easy to fall off. The user is vulnerable to electric shock when installing the product. The product does not meet the requirements of the EU Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN62560, which has been Force a recall and withdraw from the market.
