The MAX9713 / MAX9714 channel / stereo Class D amplifier provides Class AB amplifier performance, and has Class D efficiency, saves board space, and does not require a bulky heat sink. Due to the use of class D structure, even if this type of device outputs 6W of power, it can still ensure that the efficiency is higher than 85%. Proprietary and patented modulation and conversion schemes eliminate the output filters required by traditional Class D amplifiers.

The MAX9713 / MAX9714 provide two modulation schemes: fixed mode (FFM) and spread spectrum mode (SSM) (this mode reduces EMI radiation generated by the modulation frequency). The device utilizes a fully differential structure, a full-bridge output, and a comprehensive click-suppression circuit.

The MAX9713 / MAX9714 have a PSRR of 76dB, a low THD + N of 0.07%, and an SNR of more than 95dB. The short-circuit and thermal overload protection functions prevent the device from damage under fault conditions. The MAX9713 is available in a 32-pin TQFN (5mm x 5mm x 0.8mm) package. The MAX9714 is available in a 32-pin TQFN (7mm x 7mm x 0.8mm) package. Both devices operate in the extended temperature range of -40 ° C to + 85 ° C.
