At the beginning of 1998, China Optoelectronics Optoelectronics Branch strengthened the management and business of the LED display industry, and actively carried out work in guiding the development of the industry, developing communication and coordination of optoelectronic devices and LED display product technology and testing standards, and is currently working on standards. The establishment of systems and specific standards to organize the work. With the formation of product standard systems and the implementation of series standards, the LED display industry is developing in a healthy and orderly direction.

According to the CCID Microelectronics Research Institute, the demand for LED display screens in China will increase by an average of 35% per year from 2002 to 2005.
