After graduating from the Department of Photometry at Zhejiang University in 1988, he entered Fudan University for teaching and research. He is the director of the Institute of Electric Light Sources, the head of the Department of Light Source and Lighting Engineering, the member of the International Conference on Electric Light Sources, the Secretary General of the 11th International Conference on Electric Light Sources, the Director of the China Lighting Society, and the Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Lighting Association. Teaching lighting automatic control technology, electric light source measurement, modern photoelectric testing technology and other courses. He has completed dozens of projects such as Shanghai science and technology research projects, international cooperation projects and domestic cooperation projects. He has won many awards such as Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and Outstanding Invention Award. It has an electronic ballast tester, a handheld spectrometer, an LED display unit cover structure, a digitally controlled electronic ballast, and a patent of 0.7 to 1.7 micron near-infrared spectrometer. He was visited at the University of Konstanz, Germany from 1998 to 1999. Published more than 20 papers.
