I. INTRODUCTION With the implementation of the GB7000.1-2007 "Lamps - Part 1: General Requirements and Tests" standard implemented in 2009, according to the safety standards of IEC62035 light source, some of the ballast, transformer or starting device overload may be caused. Metal halide lamps and certain high pressure sodium lamps have become unsafe. Except as specified in Note 2 of Appendix C of the GB7000.1-2007 standard, the test circuit specific test method shown in Figure C.3 of Appendix C of the standard is applied. Perform simulation abnormal circuit verification. These test methods include the requirements for the test equipment, as the basis for the inspection of the luminaire, to attract sufficient attention.
Second, the test requirements test circuit is shown in Figure 1.
Requirements for the various components in the test circuit:
1) D (rectifier diode) - 100A, 600V.
2) R (variable resistance) - 0 ~ 200Ω (the rated power of the resistor is at least 1/2 of the light source).
3) A - ammeter (with AC + DC function).
Third, the test circuit analysis According to the above standard, we analyze:
Variable resistor requirements:
We calculate according to the 1000W power of the luminaire:
