Lenovo Launches Miix 510: More Stylish Business Mixing Tablet

Tencent Digital (Gao Xiang) Lenovo has been very proficient in this year's IFA 2016 Berlin Electronics Show. Moto Z's Hasselblad camera module and Yoga Book's innovative hinge shaft design are all very attractive highlights. It is worth mentioning that its entry-level business tablet Miix series has also been improved, including the new hinge design, which makes its overall competitiveness closer to the Microsoft Surface Pro series.

Compared to the predecessor, the Lenovo Miix 510 has a superior design. The unique metal hinge consists of 280 stainless steel blocks, making the bracket more stable and enabling subtle multi-angle adjustments. Of course, the visual effects are even more outstanding.

In terms of configuration, the Lenovo Miix 510 is equipped with a 12.2-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1080P and a brightness of 320 nits. The display is more outstanding. Increasing the screen area also makes it more suitable for office work. In addition, it is also equipped with Intel's seventh-generation Kaby Lake processor, 1TB SSD solid-state drive, and optional LTE connectivity, surfing the Internet anytime, anywhere.

For accessories, the Lenovo Miix 510 supports a stylus, and an external pen tray is designed on the camera body to make it slightly obtrusive. The flip cover is made of artificial leather, more mature and sophisticated, and supports backlighting, but its keyboard is not free. Techradar simply tested the keyboard and found that although the button size is appropriate, the keystrokes are too short and may not be suitable for long typing.

The starting price of the Lenovo Miix 510 is $920 (approximately RMB 6,140) and will be available globally in October. Although the price is slightly higher than the previous product, its design, configuration, and accessories are all improved. It is also understandable, and this price is still a lot cheaper than the Surface Pro 4.
