Conexant Systems and Xceive Corporation have launched four jointly developed "PCTV" reference designs for the global market. PCTV applications help consumers watch radio and television programs on their PCs. The new reference design features Conexant's advanced broadcast audio/video (A/V) decoder and Xceive's highly integrated silicon tuner. The new solution has a Universal Serial Bus (USB) or Express® (PCI-e) interface, both models are available. These include models supporting the analog ground systems, the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC), and the Clear QAM industry broadcast standard and the analog digital terrestrial and digital video broadcast terrestrial (DVB-T) broadcast standard.About Conexant's Audio/Video Broadcast Decoder Conexant's CX2310X decoder family helps users capture analog and digital broadcast streams on their PCs via an integrated USB interface. Conexant's CX23888 audio/video PCI-e decoder features a patented, high-performance "3D" comb filter that dramatically improves video quality without the need for external memory. This flexibility allows manufacturers to develop products on a single platform and bring products to market faster and more cost-effectively.
