The first LED production base in the west was founded in Xi'an


On August 28th, Shaanxi Provincial State-owned Enterprise Shaanxi Electronic Information Group Co., Ltd. and Xi'an Chuanglian Electric Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., together with Shaanxi Xidian Keda Technology Industry Group Corporation, and Yulin Kaixin Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. Established the first LED production base in the west - Xi'an Zhongwei Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.

The LED industry is an emerging industry that has developed rapidly in the past decade. This year, the domestic LED industry has increased by 48% compared with last year. At present, five industrial clusters in Dalian, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Nanchang have been formed in China. The newly established Xi'an Zhongwei Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. has a registered capital of 60 million yuan and a total investment of 250 million yuan. The company relies on Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology's own technology in semiconductor lighting and Shaanxi Electronic Information Group Co., Ltd. The advantages will fill the gap in the high-end extension and die production of the LED industry in Shaanxi Province and even in the west. While developing Xi'an Zhongwei Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., it will build Xi'an Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Industrial Park and build the industrial park into a domestic first-class and internationally renowned semiconductor lighting research and production park.
