LED lamps do not contain substances that are harmful to the environment such as mercury and do not damage the environment. “Energy saving is 90% more than incandescent lamps, 60% more energy-efficient than energy-saving lamps, and 100 times longer than incandescent lamps,” said a staff member of the exhibition.

In recent years, with the research and application of semiconductor luminescent materials, LED lighting products on the market are dazzling. In the past, product development in the light of brightness, companies began to join the "comfort space", "light value-added program", "energy saving" and other elements.

In February of this year, the “Semiconductor Lighting Industry Energy Conservation Plan” jointly issued by six ministries and commissions including the National Development and Reform Commission pointed out that China will gradually increase the financial subsidies for the promotion of LED lighting products, and gradually promote the application of LED lighting products with mature technologies and significant energy-saving effects. Promote indoor commercial lighting products and systems, actively promote outdoor public lighting products and systems, timely promotion of home lighting products actively support innovative applications in the automotive, agricultural, medical and other fields.

"The development of China's LED industry is growing at an unprecedented rate." Industry experts predict that by 2015, high-energy incandescent lamps will be almost completely eliminated, and LED market share is expected to expand aggressively.

Xu Huai, director of the China Lighting Association, believes that the future development of the industry lies in three key points: green, energy saving, and environmental protection. In line with the national energy-saving emission reduction policy, LED products meet the needs of the general public, and satisfaction of home lighting needs is an important part of future industrial development.
