At present, most companies that develop and produce road lamps with LED as a light source do not have a good understanding and research on the luminous characteristics of LEDs. Instead, they simply equip the original road lamp housing with LED light sources, or simply flatten the LEDs. Spread on the lamp body and folded at an angle to increase the illumination surface, the lighting effect is not ideal.
Compared with the ordinary high-pressure sodium lamp or metal halide lamp, the LED light source has a smaller illumination angle, so the effective illumination surface has a higher brightness and a strong sense of direction, so there is an advantage in local illumination, and it is because of this that the LED can be a certain degree. Achieve energy savings. However, after the LED is applied to the road surface illumination, the problem is highlighted: the street lamp has a prescribed distance between each lamp pole, and since each light source has a small illumination angle and the light is concentrated, the part between the two light poles is caused. The brightness is obviously darker than the light, which is very unfavorable for road lighting and is prone to safety accidents. If the color temperature is lowered, the brightness of the light source will also change. In short, Dou Linping believes that LED as a road light source, its illumination, illumination uniformity, brightness, brightness uniformity, glare, color rendering, light decay and other issues are currently not well resolved, and it is precisely because of these problems At present, there are few areas where LEDs are used as road lighting in the country. Even some cities have tried to use LEDs as road lighting on a certain road and have not achieved good results. In the end, they can only be replaced.
At the same time, there are more and more manufacturers of road lamps that use LED as a light source to develop and produce. There are already hundreds of companies in the preliminary statistics. The promotion and promotion momentum is very fierce, and they have invested huge amounts of money. Dou Lin said flatly that this is not a wise choice for companies. It may be that some business decision makers believe that early production can grab a portion of the market share. However, manufacturers should pay more attention to the development of LED light source technology, invest in scientific research, and then develop and produce lamps that match the LED lighting characteristics scientifically, reasonably and timely according to the technical level of the light source, and should not blindly invest.
