After three years of "crying" in the field of wireless communications, China Telecom finally broke out again.
According to informed sources, China Telecom held a conference at the end of last month to discuss extending the experimental LTE experiment network from the current four provinces of Guangdong and Jiangsu to 31 provinces. In the overall strategy of LTE hybrid networking, the LTE bidding test was launched in September and the formal bidding was held in the fourth quarter.
On the wireless side, China Telecom will gradually launch a hybrid TDD+FDD network in key cities, with the TDD band allocated to 2635-2655MHz in the D band; and in the EPC core network, it will be built nationwide to cover at least all capital cities. .
This progress is slightly later than China Mobile’s TD-LTE scale-up technology trial bidding process. China Mobile will complete the TD-LTE tender in August and announce the results and share allocation. "China Telecom can make full use of China Mobile's role in nurturing the industry chain and reduce costs as much as possible."
Prior to this, at the 2013 Tianyi Mobile Trade Fair held in Guangzhou, Wang Xiaochu, chairman of China Telecom, said that it will use FDD LTE/TD-LTE convergence to form a 4G network. Wang Xiaochu said that because frequency is the most important resource for operators, 4G convergence networking is inevitable.
In the 4G network planning of China Telecom, the 4G network with large coverage will still use FDD, while the densely populated areas in the urban area will use TDD to absorb excess traffic. China Telecom will adopt an integrated solution to achieve all users' demand.
On the mobile phone side, China Telecom will launch FDD mode and deploy C+W+G+FDD four-mode 9-band products; data terminals include data cards, MIFI, and CPE products, with TDD+WIFI and TDD+FDD+WIFI system combinations On the SIM card side, the new card will support LTE and NFC. “Obviously, China Telecom has TD-LTE as a pure data subnet. This is a very clever solution to the difficulties brought about by the combination of the two weak industrial chains of CDMA+TD-LTE.â€

A Bridge rectifier is an Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC) converter that rectifies mains AC input to DC output. Bridge Rectifiers are widely used in power supplies that provide necessary DC voltage for the electronic components or devices. They can be constructed with four or more diodes or any other controlled solid-state switches.
