Taiwan's Lextar Electronics has implemented an LED lighting system that can remotely control lighting products via the short-range wireless communication standard, Bluetooth.
A terminal can distinguish at least five sets of lighting fixtures, and in addition to opening and closing, the color temperature can be changed almost continuously by wireless means. The combination of illumination brightness and color temperature can be set according to different time periods such as morning, noon, afternoon, dinner, and evening to select from.
Ronda Electronics first disclosed the system at the "2011 Taipei International Photonics Week" a year ago. The company said: "2011 is only a technology show, no products have been launched, and sample shipments have been started since the beginning of 2012. The product was also well received at the exhibition 'Light+Building 2012' held in Germany in April 2012. ."
For the terminal application software for this system, only OS "Android 3.0" is supported in 2011, and in 2012, Apple's "iOS" can be supported. Ronda Electronics said, "The development work is coming to an end and is waiting for Apple to pass the audit. It is estimated that it will be approved within 2 to 3 months."
