The line loss rate is an important economic and technical indicator of the power supply system. It indicates that the amount of power lost on the line accounts for the percentage of the output energy at the head end of the line. However, the line loss rate is rarely evaluated by one line, and most of it is a power system or a power supply area to calculate its comprehensive line loss rate. The line loss rate can not only comprehensively reflect the power supply economy of a unit or a region, but also indirectly reflect the technical conditions and management level of the power supply. Whether it is a country, a large power system or a power supply area, the advanced line loss rate should be controlled between 5% and 8%, and the line loss rate with poor power supply conditions can reach more than 10%. The line loss rate ΔP% can be calculated as follows:
ΔP%=(power supply amount - power consumption) ÷ power supply amount × 100%
The amount of power supply and the amount of electricity used in the equation are based on the meter reading power of the terminal and the meter. Sometimes the line loss rate can be calculated by calculating the loss power and the head end transmission power.
ΔP%=P′÷P×100%
Where: P' - the power loss of the line, kW;
P——The first end delivers power, kW.
