In the daily power management, many agricultural electricians feel that the leakage protector failure point is difficult to find. In practice, the author explored four ways to quickly find the fault point of the leakage protector for peer reference.

(1) Intuitive inspection method: The inspector analyzes and judges the fault phenomenon, and intuitively inspects the protection area including the leakage protector and the protected line equipment to find the fault point. When inspecting, it is important to check the complex sections and fault-prone points of the corners, branches, cross-overs of the line.

(2) Trial delivery method. This method mainly looks for the fault of the leakage protector itself, not the external fault. The specific operation method is as follows: first cut off the power supply, remove all the load side lead wires of the zero-sequence transformer of the leakage protector, and then turn on the power supply to judge. At this time, if the protector cannot operate, it can be considered that the leakage protector itself is faulty and should be replaced or repaired; if it can operate normally, it can be considered that the protector is not faulty, and the fault may occur on the distribution line or the external line.

The specific determination method is as follows: firstly, each line outlet or AC contactor load side power supply is cut off. If the leakage protector cannot operate, there is a fault on the switchboard; if the leakage protector can operate normally, it indicates that there is no fault on the switchboard, and the fault may be Occurs on the outside line, then the line elimination method can be used to find the fault point.

(3) Line exclusion method. When it is confirmed that the fault point occurs on the outside line, the main line is tested and sent, and then the branches of the low-voltage power grid are disconnected in the order of “first trunk, re-branch, and rear end”. In the case where it is confirmed that the main line is not faulty, which branch line is put into operation, the protector operates, and the fault point is on which line.

(4) Numerical comparison method: The line or equipment is measured by means of the meter, and the fault value is detected by comparing the measured value with the original value.
