   Mr. Yu Yuchao, Associate Director of LEDinside Research Department, shared and exchanged views on the current situation of semiconductor lighting market and the application of high-power LED products in the market.    Liu Wenhuang, Director of R&D Department of Xuming Optoelectronics, shared with the industry the application development issues of high-power metal substrate vertical light-emitting diodes and near-ultraviolet light-emitting diodes. It was introduced into the market of street lamps and became the leader in the supply of LED chips for LED street lamps. In the part of the violet chip, the P5 UV LED uses the Xuming MvpLED chip and the UV glass case. Its MvpLED chip uses the patent of the vertical copper alloy substrate of Xuming, and uses silicon as the main packaging material. Its advantages are: the chip's copper alloy substrate and silicon package optimize the heat transfer from the junction to the heat sink, which is the key to extending the life of the UV LED. In addition to good thermal conductivity, Xuming 365 nano P5 UV LED also has excellent optical performance, high drive current increases light intensity, making application design more convenient. The P5 LED has a working power of 5W and a drive current of 1.5A. It has a small SMT base and is suitable for polymer curing and processing. Ultraviolet LEDs play an increasingly important role in a wide variety of UV applications, including curing, currency/document verification, tanning, medical, and sterilization. Compared with traditional mercury lamps, ultraviolet LEDs have the advantages of flexible application, small size, long life and energy saving and no mercury pollution. These new LEDs have greatly promoted the development of the UV industry and related applications. At the same time, as UV LEDs gradually replace traditional UV light sources, a large number of new UV LED products are expected in the future.
