After an internal evaluation by the New York Transit Authority (NYDOT), Kingsun's four Cobra Head LED Street Lights (KS-8328/112T4) were installed on the New York Intercontinental Highway 495 (Long Island Expressway) two weeks ago. This road is the main road connecting New York and Long Island. It is full of traffic 24 hours a day.
The 8328 series LED Street Light was successfully developed in March 2009. The luminaire design adopts advanced concepts to meet the requirements of future road lighting standards and adopts some standard luminaire structures. Kingsun believes that these LED street lamps have excellent performance. It is these advanced Technology and ideas have caught the attention of the New York Transit Authority.

The New York Transit Authority will conduct a four-month online evaluation of these street lights, and will also await the US federal government's bond funding support for the city's LED streetlight engineering transformation. Once the funds are in place, it will launch a larger test and application.
