"We started to produce CSP chips in October last year, mainly for the backup market of Taiwan's auto lamp manufacturers. At present, we have already entered the After Market market for car headlights. One car can ship up to 10,000 pieces per model." Zhong Kuanren, chairman of New Century Optoelectronics, pointed out that the next step in the new century is to plan OEM cooperation with European automotive lighting manufacturers, and hope to enter the first-line automobile manufacturer supply chain.
At the same time, the author also learned that CSP can now be applied to ultra-thin TVs, ultra-thin mobile phones and flashlights. The downstream of the application is wider and the suppliers are less, which will encourage more companies to get out of the new blue ocean.
"It is expected that the company's shipment of CSP chips will increase significantly in March this year. Although the LED industry is still in a state of struggle, I think this will be the first year of CSP for the majority of LED companies." Zhong Kuanren said.
Nowadays, CSP has become the hottest point in the industry. After entering 2016, this trend has become more and more intense. Words such as package-free, CSP, NCSP and WiCop have come and gone, and they have won the attention of most people.

However, many practitioners at the moment said that no matter what kind of process, CSP will not eliminate the life of the packaging company.
