A certain LED lamp in Xiamen was rejected by the US due to unqualified illumination.

According to reports, at the end of March, a group of optoelectronic enterprises in Xiamen exported to the United States a batch of work lamps worth more than 50,000 US dollars were not returned due to the illuminance less than the contract requirements, resulting in losses of nearly 100,000 yuan.

Xiamen Xinglin Inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out a return survey on the goods. The investigation found that the work light is a special LED lamp for the automobile 4S after-sales maintenance shop. There are two technical parameters agreed between the domestic exporter and the US importer, namely lumens and illuminance. The goods are shipped to the factory for the lumen parameters. The inspection, in line with the contract requirements, but the illumination test was omitted, and the importer returned the repair after the test found that it was unqualified.

Further investigation found that the reason for the unqualified work lights was the purchase of PCB boards with unstable performance, which led to the failure of the final illumination parameters of the LED lamps to meet customer requirements.
